Permanent Makeup and Li-FT Tattoo Removal is NOT suitable for everyone.
By booking a treatment you are agreeing to our booking terms and conditions.
A patch test must be carried out 48 hours prior to your treatment and you will be provided with Pre Treatment information.
A Permanent Makeup treatment is for one treatment only. You must wait a minimum of 6 weeks between each treatment to allow the stages of healing and the skin to heal properly.
Li-FT Tattoo Removal is for one treatment only and you will be charged per session. You must wait a minimum of 8 weeks between each session.
Any Top Up appointments for Permanent Makeup booked after 10 weeks will be charged as an Annual Top Up Treatment.
Any further treatments or touch ups for Permanent Makeup required after a 6 week top up appointment will be charged accordingly to cover my costs.
6 Week Top Up treatments and Annual Top up treatments for Permanent Makeup are for one treatment only, if you require more treatments you will be charged accordingly. For those with oily based or very dry skin, do not heal well and fail to follow aftercare instructions may require more treatments, which are charged accordingly to cover costs. A maximum of 3 top up sessions can be booked.
All new clients will be charged the full price of a new treatment. I do not offer any correctional, top up or annual top up work on new clients.
You will be required to sign medical history and treatment consent forms for every treatment that you have. All medical information provided must be accurate. By signing our treatment consent forms you are agreeing to have understood our full booking terms and conditions, are agreeing to the shape and colour of the treatment, the full procedure being carried out, any risks that may occur and following the aftercare.

Eyebrow Permanent Makeup Treatments - Please note that hair strokes are not suitable for every skin type and may heal as powdery, blurry strokes and not take in very oily areas where the ink is diluted. Measuring string and callipers will be used to draw a template, however no persons face is entirely symmetrical therefore by agreeing to the shape and colour on the treatment consent form, you understand that the brows will not be perfect and may differ slightly.
For all Permanent Makeup Treatments:
The treatment area may appear dark at first and 50 to 70% of the colour may be lost as scabbing clears. Further treatment/s may be needed to achieve the correct balance.
Some areas of the face and lips which can include scar tissue, previous skin trauma, oily based areas, milk spots, spotting, acne, overly dry or chapped skin may not take the pigment ink at all during the treatment or during the aftercare which is beyond my control and refunds cannot be issues for undesired results.
There is no guarantee on the number of sessions required for any areas that do not take ink pigmentation and discolouration may occur. Refunds cannot be issued if results are not fulfilled. Underlying skin conditions or poor aftercare could also cause infection, scarring, ink migration or discolouration and there is no guarantee how the pigment ink will react under the skin. Refunds cannot be issued if this should occur. Some areas of the skin may not take the ink pigmentation at all, which is completely beyond our control.
We are not responsible for any facial asymmetry or symmetry issues where treatments have healed uneven or where botox or fillers has caused any facial or lip asymmetry after your treatment.
Some medications including blood thinning medication may affect the results and healing of your treatment and we are not responsible for poor or undesired results or healing issues leading to bruising, scarring or infection out of our control. We may ask for an extra disclaimer to be agreed to and signed, where a letter from a medical professional cannot be obtained.
Permanent Makeup By Jo is not responsible for any previous semi permanent makeup treatments carried out by another artist, which may have caused any damage to the skin, or pigmentation discolouration.
For all Li-FT Treatments - There is no guarantee on the number of sessions required or the quality of the outcome following each session. Li-FT treatments can also cause bruising, swelling, bleeding and scabbing and further ink migration. Poor aftercare can result in bruising, infection, migration and scarring.
There will be no refunds if the desired lightening result is not achieved or the ink has reacted under the skin. Aftercare must be followed and issues cannot be refunded for poor aftercare or failure to achieve the desired result.
For all Li-FT Treatments there is a higher risk of hyper-pigmentation, hypo-pigmentation in darker skin types and skin types V and VI.
Following the treatment of Li-FT there may also be a risk of skin discoloration where the ink is less visible and there is damage to the skin from trauma caused by previous tattoo work, underlaying skin issues, skin damage or Li-FT Treatments.
Permanent Makeup by Jo is not responsible for any results of imperfection where the desired results are not achievable and refunds cannot be issued for this.

Please DO NOT book a treatment if:
You are under the age of 18 years
Are Pregnant or breastfeeding
Have a heart condition or pacemaker
Have a bleeding or blood clotting disorder
Are currently taking any blood thinning medication
Have a known transmittable HIV, Aids or Hepatitis infection
Have a skin disease or infection on the treatment area
Have any raised birth marks, moles or warts on the treatment area
Have new scar tissue on the treatment area
Have uncontrolled Diabetes
Have Epilepsy
Have a nickel allergy or underlying known skin condition
Are undergoing Chemotherapy: Doctors approval may be necessary
Have had Botox or Dermal Fillers in the last 4 weeks.
You must inform me of the following:
Undergoing any hospital treatment: Doctors approval may be necessary
Glaucoma: Doctors approval may be necessary
Are taking steroids such as Cortisone, Accutane, Retin-A or Renova: Doctors approval may be necessary
If you suffer with cold sores - You will need to use an anti-viral medication 5 days prior to and 5 days post lip treatments as coldsores can result in lost colour.
Eyelash Extensions - These must be removed professionally 1 week before your eyeliner treatment.
Eyelash Growth Serums - These must be stopped at least 3 months before your eyeliner treatment for your safety.
If you bruise or scar easily.
Sun beds, heat treatments and direct sun should be avoided 1 week before your procedure
Please note - You must inform me immediately if your medical history changes.
In the event that I am unable to perform a treatment due to incorrect or insufficient information being provided, I reserve the right to refund any deposit or fees paid.
I will provide every client for Permanent Makeup with an aftercare pack which you must follow to ensure your treatment stays at its best and heals correctly.
I will provide every client with aftercare information for all Li-FT Removal treatments, which must be followed to ensure the treatment area heals correctly.
The treatment area must be kept clean dry for the following 5 days. Any use of soaps, cleansers, creams, abrasive products, bleach or hair removal products and any heat treatments including saunas, steam rooms and sun beds must be avoided.
The use of sun beds, direct sunlight and facial and chemical peels will prevent healing and can also reduce the life span of your permanent make treatment.
Poor aftercare and failing to follow my aftercare instructions can result in bruising, infection, migration, scabbing, discolouration, loss of pigment, patchy and uneven treatments. Permanent Makeup By Jo is not responsible for failure to follow the advice given and the risks mentioned which beyond my control and the client takes full responsibility for.
A deposit is required to secure your booking.
Card details are required when booking a consultation or treatment online. Your card will not be charged, however charges will be applied if you fail to meet my booking terms and conditions policy or give 72 hours notice of cancellation.
By booking a treatment and paying a deposit you are confirming that you have fully read and understood our Terms and Conditions and understand that micro pigmentation is a process that carries with it possible consequences associated with this type of procedure including but not limited to infection, scabbing, inconsistent colour and migration/spreading of pigments and that bruising/swelling may also occur.
One free consultation space will be allocated, any further consultations or assessments will be charged accordingly to cover my costs.
All bookings are subject to availability at every location and must be booked in advance. Treatments are not offered on specific days and times as requested by the client.
Deposits are redeemable against a full price treatment and are non refundable.
All booking fees are non refundable.
All 6 week top ups must be booked within 10 weeks of the first treatment date and Annual Top ups must be booked within 18 months of the first treatment date to receive an Annual Top up fee.
All appointments must be attended solo. I reserve the right to refuse treatment to anyone who does not attend the appointment alone.
You must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol when attending your appointment.
I reserve the right to refuse treatment or time to anyone who demonstrates unsuitable, threatening or unkind behaviour.
Treatment and Consultation spaces should be booked for treatment purposes only.
The minimum age for a treatment is 18 years of age. I reserve the right to refuse treatment to anyone under the age of 18, even with parental consent. I may require valid proof of identification.
Anyone under the age of 16 is not permitted in our treatment room due to insurance reasons.
A card number is required to secure your booking online and will only be charged if you fail to show for a treatment or give less than 72 hours notice of cancellation.
For Treatments, all deposits and fees paid are non refundable but transferable if more than 72 hours notice is given. Appointments which are transferred to another date can only be transferred once. After this, all deposits will be lost and 50% of the treatment cost will be required.
Cancellations must be done by email or by calling me directly, messages on social media platforms will not be accepted as they may be missed or not received.
Please note that bookings can only be changed once and if cancelled or amended for a second time, the deposit will be lost and the remaining balance (full cost of treatment booked) will be charged.
For notice of cancellation within less than 72 hours for all appointments will result in full charges being applied to cover my loss of costs. These costs must be paid in full before attending your next appointment.
For all 6 Week Top Up Appointments, there will be a £25 charge if you fail to attend, amend or cancel your appointment at any time to cover my loss in business costs. This must be paid in full before attending any future bookings.
For all Consultations, there will be a £10 charge if you fail to give 72 hours notice, to cover my loss in business costs. This must be paid in full before attending any future bookings. Further charges will apply if the invoice is not paid within 7 days.
Appointments can only be changed once, after this further charges will apply to your next booking and must be paid in full before attending your appointment.
Failure to show 15 minutes after your appointment start time will result in your appointment being immediately cancelled and charges will apply.
In the unfortunate event of me having to cancel your appointment, all fees will be refunded or transferable to my next available date.
Please note: For all bookings made online via my booking system, your card details are required to secure your booking. Your card will not be charged however charges will be applied if you fail to cancel your appointment within 72 hours notice and further charges may apply as per my terms and conditions.
Your deposit can be paid by invoice, bank transfer when booking your treatment online.
Your remaining balance will be due in full on the day of your first treatment either by cash or card payment and the outstanding balance may vary depending on the treatment type required and deposits paid.
Treatment prices may vary depending on the type of treatment style and detail as requested by the client on the day of treatment.
For online bookings, a card is required to secure your booking and charges will be applied if you fail to cancel your appointment within the 72 hours notice required.
For Paypal Pay Later invoices, an additional 2.9% plus 30p transaction fee will be applied to the invoice to cover my charges lost through the transaction.
PMU By Jo is not responsible for any further fees or charges occurred from late or non payment.
Gift vouchers are only valid for 6 months from the issue date.
Gift vouchers can be purchased by cash or card for any given value.
Gift vouchers can only be used towards the full value of any treatment and cannot be used for any promotions or offers.
Gift vouchers cannot be used for any cancellation fees, missed appointment fees or further charges applied.
Gift vouchers are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
