Aftercare
Taking good care of your new treatment is incredibly important for long lasting, beautiful results and avoid any risks attached with Semi Permanent Makeup and Scar Camouflage.

I will provide you with all the tools and information you need to look after your treatment area and make aftercare as simple as possible. I will be there to support you on your healing journey.

The first day
Your treatment area will be very sensitive and swollen, your skin may appear pink or red and the treatment may appear darker for the next couple of days.
For the first few days you will need to keep your treatment area clean as possible with gentle cleaning.
You must avoid touching your treatment area, rubbing with towels, refrain from using any soap, creams or makeup on the treatment area and avoid any facials, treatments, swimming, hot baths, saunas or steam rooms.

Healing process
The stages of healing are all part of the process and every client heals completely differently, so results can not always be guaranteed.
As your treatment area begins to heal in week 1, it will be dry, flaky and itchy.
If you are having Semi Permanent Makeup or Scar Camouflage, it is completely normal for the colour to fade as the ink pigments are settling down into your skin layers. The colour will then start to reappear on the surface by week 3 and when you may need to return for a top up appointment.
For Scar Camouflage and Tattoo Removal treatments, several sessions may be required to see desired results.

Special attention
By looking after your treatment area, you will prolong its life and avoid the possibility of infection and the risks attached as per my Booking Terms and Conditions.
I will provide you with an easy to follow aftercare guide and kit to ensure the treatment heals well.
I will be there to support you on your healing journey and answer any questions or concerns that you may have along the way.
