  • What is permanent makeup?
Permanent Makeup, also known as Micropigmentation is a form of cosmetic tattooing and is carried out by using a machine or a hand tool which inserts tiny pigments of ink into the skin. These pigments can enhance your eyes, eyebrows, lips and body.
  • What are the benefits?
Permanent Makeup will not only give you beautiful long lasting makeup, but can make a life changing difference to those who have sparse eyebrows or no hair, have difficulty applying makeup themselves, reduce time on daily makeup routines and give you 100% smudge proof and water proof makeup we all need in our everyday busy lives.
  • How long will it last?
Permanent Makeup is long lasting and will remain in the skin for years depending on skin type, lifestyle and care. I use a high quality ink pigment and your colour will only fade to a lighter colour of itself, however I will recommend booking an Annual Top Up appointment (for existing clients only) to keep your shape and colour looking fresh. You can book your Annual Top Up Appointment via my website or contact me to check my diary availability.
  • Can anyone have permanent makeup?
Whilst permanent makeup is fantastic for most people, some individuals may not be suitable, which could include either a pre existing medical or skin condition/type. You must be aged 18 and over to have permanent makeup. Please CLICK HERE For a list of those I am unable to treat or kindly contact me with any concerns you may have.
  • Is permanent makeup safe?
Yes, it is a very safe procedure as I work in a very hygienic, safe and sterile environment and everything that comes into contact with the client is sterile and then disposed of correctly. I only use the highest quality of ink pigments which are hypo-allergenic, meet all of the FDA & EU Regulations for safety and are also vegan and cruelty free. We will also perform a patch test to rule out any allergic reaction to our products being used. Full pre treatment and aftercare instructions are explained and given to every client and must be adhered to.
  • Is it painful?
Like with any tattoo procedure there will be some level of discomfort, however this will vary for person to person. You will be numbed before and during the procedure to minimise the pain and help you feel at ease.
  • What is the healing process and how long will it take to heal?
Your treatment area will be very sensitive for the following few days and can take up to 2 weeks to heal. I will provide you with an aftercare pack with instructions which must be followed to avoid infection, ensure your new treatment is looked after and stays at its very best.
  • How old do I have to be to have a treatment?
You must be aged 18 years and over to be eligible for a treatment. I specialise in 100% natural looking treatments and have treated clients from the age of 22 to 98 years old!
  • Can I choose my own shape and colour?
You will be involved in the whole process and I will work with you to find the most achievable natural shape and colour to match your hair colour and skin tone.
  • What does the treatment price include?
Your treatment price includes a consultation, pre treatment care, your bespoke treatment and an aftercare gift pack. The price of the treatment is due in full on the day of your first treatment. If any further treatments or touch ups are required after your 6 week top up appointment, you will be charged accordingly to cover my costs.
  • How many treatments will I need?
For most clients, one treatment plus a 6 week top up is enough to last 12 to 18 months, however if you do not follow the aftercare or do not heal well then additional treatments may be required. Some skin types such as oily, scarred, or overly thick or chapped skin can prevent ink implantation.
  • How do I take care of my new treatment?
It is really important to take good care of your new treatment as direct sunlight, sun beds, chemical and facial peels can reduce the life span of your treatment as they can break down the skin cells where the ink pigments are sitting.
  • How long will the treatment take?
Please allow up to 2 hours for your treatment and 1.5 hours for your 6 week top up appointment.
  • Where are you located and what are your opening hours?
I am located at three locations in Kent including Hawkinge, Deal and Dymchurch. If you are unable to find a suitable appointment please reach out to me as cancellations do pop up from time to time and I am always happy to send directions, so please ask!
  • What qualifications do you have as a Permanent Makeup and Tattoo Removal Specialist ?
I was lucky enough to train with the UK’s No1 Permanent Makeup Training Academy and one to one with Katy Jobbins. I have also undergone training in Pigment Ink Colour Theory, Advanced Skincare and Healing, Health and Safety, Risk Assessment, First Aid, Infection Control and Covid 19 VTQ. I am also trained in the most safe and effective methods of Saline Tattoo Removal by the Vegas artist of 21 years, Teryn Darling.
  • Can I have permanent makeup if I have botox or dermal fillers?
If you regularly have botox or dermal fillers you will need to wait at least 4 weeks for your muscles to return to normal before having your permanent makeup treatment.
  • Do you offer correctional work?
If you have had a permanent treatment done elsewhere which you are not happy with and the colour has faded by at least 50%, I can work with you to perfect the colour and shape you wish for, cover your old treatment area and regain your confidence in permanent makeup.
  • Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes of course, I offer a FREE 15 minute consultation where we can discuss the treatment that you are considering. I will also discuss the benefits of permanent makeup, colour options, medical history, healing, aftercare and any questions or worries that you may have. If you are happy to book a treatment then we will carry out a simple patch test to ensure no allergic reactions occur. I also offer a free video consultation and I can send you a patch test by post.

You can book your Free Consulation or Treatment via our online booking system by CLICKING HERE or you can email or call me to check diary availability. I ask for a £50 deposit to secure your booking, which is deductable from your treatment price on the day.
  • I live far away or cannot make an appointment during the week, can you send me information by post?
If you are travelling far to have a treatment with me or you are very busy during the week, I can send you a patch test and information sheet by post and arrange a call if you have any questions or concerns, before booking you in.
  • Do you have a cancellation or waiting list?
